This Time by Maniac Garage
This Time by Maniac Garage

I heard this first from a Spanish speaking woman in her mid or late 40's. And She got this song as her ringtone! At that time, I thought this Maniac Garage is a Colombian or a Spanish local band and I thought it was cool to hear this kind of song from her phone.
I have been hearing this song for almost half a year now, And that was after a few minutes of serious Googling I finally found it!
Well, I never really got the full song. just the 30-second mp3. (and I am starting to believe that this is all there is)
But what's interesting is that I learned that this song was first done by a JPop artist named Makou.
As a consolation I got Makou's version of This Time safely hibernating in my hard drive.

Hey wassup everyone! How's the epic hunt for the "One-Hit-Wonder Turned Into A Ghost-Kind-Of-A-Band" went so far? When you reaaaaalllllly want to hear something this good and you can't even get or buy the full song to listen to it, it sucks eh? Seems like something out of your control is denying you to hear it! Maybe, just maybe.. If rich records producers hear or see this mini-song on youtube getting a million hits, they will be thrilled to hunt the band for us. What do you think?

Hello Maniac Garage hunters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Those exclamation marks are necessary. lol)
I'd given up all my hopes for searching the (not-so-existing)could be- mp3 of this song.
First, let me state my reasons why I tend to be so certain that there's nothing more to find about them: this band Maniac Garage and their song Right Now.
Its been more than half a decade now (or longer than that and that's what i believe) since the first accounted query for this band came up. And it is already July 1, 2010,(BTW, LeBron James is a free agent now! Where do you think he'd end up? lol) at this day and age it is really so difficult to be invisible even if they chose to.
Traces of them should have came up by now if they really are for real.
Somebody would have uploaded the whole song on Youtube, or even shared it on limewire already.
Some kick-ass blogger would have already blogged about it.
BUT NONE of those should haves and would haves ever happened.
And as for the 'Right Now' remix that I am planning to create, I will keep it on my to-do list and will do it when time already permits me.

Few Things That I Didn't Know About Qatar.. Till 6 Months Ago
I've been wanting to post something like this for a long time now. Damn!
1. In Qatar..There are considerably fewer Qataris compared to other
nationalities.
Sabi sa wikipedia: sa 1.5M na tao currently dito sa Qatar, not less than around 350K were believed to be citizens. 
How's that? Ang unti no?
2. Oil is substantially cheaper than H2O.
1 L of H2O is around QR1=PHP13.0something1 L naman ng Gasoline ay QR.90something lang!
3. Aside from the absence of Pork 
in the market, There are no Citrus (Kalamansi) as well .
Baka po ma-misinterpret.. Kalamansi is not forbidden by Qatar Law as it is the case for the porky piggies. Sadyang wala lang po talagang kalamansi dito.

7. Marriage certificate is required when a couple decides to stay in any hotel anywhere here in Qatar.
Hmmm. Hindi ko na i-e-elaborate pa ito.8. A place for public worship (especially Muslims) can be found in each and every mall that I have been in.
I am just wondering...
What if ganito rin sa mga Christians sa bawat mall sa Pinas? Wala lang. Naitanong ko lang. Ayos sana ano?
